Yoga Class Descriptions

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga classes focus on integrating movement with breath. Lunchtime classes are for those looking to become familiar with the sequence, breath and bundhas and who like a movement based class but find the traditional classes to fast. The evening Ashtanga classes are half primary sessions designed to produce heat and make you sweat. You will improve your strength, flexibility, focus and concentration, and regain control of your body and mind.


Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga is a slow practice that helps build a strong core, strength and flexibility. Using props for support, this practice centers around alignment, control and precision, with a diversity of postures and modifications to suit a wide range of levels, from beginner to advanced. Evening classes are stronger based and the lunchtime sessions a bit more chilled out.
